The Shootings Must Stop – I’m Looking for Leaders of Men
Woke up to another shooting this morning and I just can’t take it anymore. My heart breaks so deeply each time this happens, and it’s getting worse, not better.
Whatever your politics and beliefs around guns, I believe it is truly inarguable that disconnected men are dangerous men.
I’m not a politician, and I have no idea how to balance freedom vs protection in the gun debate.
I do know that connecting men is something I can do, and something I believe in.
Men’s groups have changed my life. I joined my first one in 2006, and have been in one more or less ever since, and will be for the rest of my life. In early 2017 I started leading them twice a month here in LA to try and contribute back, but it isn’t enough.
I’m putting out a call for men who are ready to step up and step into leading other men. I want to train you and task you with starting a men’s group in your local community.
It will be a 10 week virtual program over ZOOM, and I’m looking for SIX men for this first round. You will experience a men’s group first hand during the training with me and the other 5 participants, get practice leading, and have my mentorship as you finally go off and create a group of your own in your local area.
